for Pete's sake

In honor of my first child, Peter Mark, who we lost to miscarriage, I would love to pray for your intentions that are related to infertility or the loss of a child.

Please leave your prayer intention - for yourself or someone you know - in the comment box. Commenters may leave their name or be anonymous. You may share as little or as much as you like. With great respect, dignity, and affection I would like to pray for you, your pain, your grief, and your hope.

I, of course, invite all those who comment or read the comments to join me in praying for one another.

Thank you for this privilege.

I have a friend named Leigha who is experiencing infertility. If you could pray for her and her husband, I know they would appreciate it! Thank you and God bless you!

I've come across your blog, through my sister in law, and found yesterdays post speaking to my heart. My husband and I were married in October and concieved twin children, shortly after. We were blessed to carry them for 10 weeks, before Our Lord called them home. Since that time, we have struggled both emotionally and physically, and have hard a hard time concieving again. We trust that the Lord has a plan for our family, and we remain faithful, even when our hearts are filled with pain and grief. Thank you for the loving prayers you are offering, what a great blessing it is to know someone is praying for us.

I have had many miscarriages during my reproductive years. I lost 3 around 12 weeks. one at 6 weeks and a triplet at 8 weeks. Each was devastating. I had a wonderful doctor who pulled me through and now I have 3 children. But there was no other support, it was get over it and move on. No naming, no remembering, no nothing. Time has passed and my oldest is an adult, my youngest has Down Syndrome and I thought I had gotten over it and moved on. But my heart can still ached for the children I never held. I am comforted by your tribute to Peter, and pray for you and all others who have lost babies. Your blog is a blessing!

A friend of mine is pregnant with her fifth child, a girl after four boys, and early bloodwork and such indicates a chromosomal abnormality. Please pray for peace of mind, regardless of whatever may or may not be wrong.

Please lift up my friend Courtney in prayer... she has 3 beautiful healthy children but a couple years ago she lost her 4th baby (she had gotten pregnant after having her tubes tied) and had a long difficult delivery of the stillborn baby boy... Just yesterday she lost her 5th baby at 18 weeks and is being admitted today to deliver this baby as well... This is one of those times that you just scream WHY at the heavens. I am hearbroken for her.
