The Good: I've started to loose some inches - my clothes are fitting better and I even got into my pre-pregnancy jeans (even though there was a good bit of muffin top).

The Bad: I think Lydia is teething and she is a fussy, fussy baby.

The Ugly: She's been waking up every 2 hours to nurse. Crying. Fussing. Nursing for comfort every two hours. I'm so tired.

In reference to this post and your previous post about the Unwanted Family Bed.....Have you considered starting out the night with Lydia in bed with you, you being without your jammies or nightgown on, and letting her nurse as needed throughout the night while you're both lying in bed? Many a mom have found that this is a great way for mom and baby to both get sleep. Neither of them fully wakes when this is the scenario. Hannah and I did this (in secret, of course, as family would have freaked out if they had known!) in the beginning and it was such a huge relief just to get the rest I desperately needed. Family did find out later (dear hubby snitched) and I got lots of flack (sp?), but it was so worth it for the sleep I got. Just a thought.... - Audrey

Audrey, Thanks for the thought. When she ends up in bed with us she is nursing through the night. I think most of it is comfort nursing, although she may have been growing, too. BUT I never sleep well with her in bed. I never get the deep sleep so I never feel really rested.

I don't know how you did it!
