This holiday weekend I:
did all of my Christmas shopping
primed & glued pipes for plumbing
ran electrical wire for outlets
installed insullation
improved my hammer swinging abilities
picked out the front, back and storm doors
selected a fridge and stove
finally watched the movie V for Vendetta
made super yummy mashed potatoes
It was a good weekend.

Are you seriously done with your shopping?! That is just un-American. Didn't you leave any for the last minute? That is the tradition, my dear, not to be so together that you are finished before December even hits.
Are you nesting or something? Because I don't know how you did all that stuff in one weekend, and I'm not even pregnant.

Well, to be honest and fair, the "holiday weekend" for me began on Tuesday, which is when I did the shopping. Thursday and Saturday I did all the work in the house.
I HATE holiday traffice. That's why all the shopping got done early. And the list was short. Mom and Dad together, Doug and Steph together, Karl and Maureen... you get the picture.
