a secret

I have a smallish secret to tell.  I do not love chocolate.  I like it and frequently enjoy it, but I do not love it.  Culturally speaking this makes me feel like less of a woman.

But I do LOVE candy!  Skittles, Smarties, Nerds, SweeTarts, Twizzlers, Dots, Starbursts, BOTTLECAPS!  If Wonka makes it then I probably like it.

Lately all I want to do is eat these fruity sweets.  It's the bad news bears for my diet.

Am I the only person out there who prefers kid candy to the more sophisticated chocolate?  I'm okay being alone on this one, but I'm just wondering.

I'm dark chocolate lover... Not so much of the fruity things, unless it's Twizzlers then I can't eat enough!

But really I commented just to let you know that Anna is a big fan of your taste in music. I'm not gonna lie, often when she's being whiny (which luckily isn't very often), we go to your blog and I pick any song... And she always loves it! And then she says "Mo, Mo!" She's pretty clear when she wants more :-)

Me! I'll take skittles and laffy taffy any day over chocolate. Although, since Briar was born I find myself gravitating toward the chocolate more. And if there are chips or anything salty around, forget about it.

Hmmm, I love both. But given a choice I would probably go with chocolate? But not really grown up chocolate. Candy bars. Snickers, twix, butterfinger, etc. So I don't think I'm much better. I have always had a big thing for lemon drops and lemonheads. And since joining a Bunco group I have rediscovered a deep appreciation for Skittles. Oh, Bunco. Did you know there is candy on the table at Bunco? Like, that's part of it. It's not Bunco without candy on the table, usually two bowls at each table. It's killer on the diet. Killer.

Nope, you're not alone. I live for sour patch kids, runts, and tootsie roll pops. Mmmmmmmmmm

Usually I prefer the types of candy you mentioned. :)

Oh Bonnie...my husband would agree with you here.

I'm totally with you. :) Unless there's something mixed with the chocolate, I'm all for gummy bears, Good n' Plentys, bottle caps...now I'm hungry.

More for me, if it's milk chocolate! I'd side with you over dark chocolate though, which makes me feel like less of an adult/woman, too.

ohhhh it's probably similar to what I feel like when I admit to the world that I do not like to shop. "Culturally speaking this makes me feel like less of a woman"

and my favorite are starbursts!
