for Pete's sake

Our first child was miscarried at about six weeks; we named him Peter Mark. In memory of him, I would like to collect your prayer intentions that are related to the pains and anxieties of infertility or the loss of a child.

Perhaps you and your spouse are trying to conceive. Perhaps someone you love is beginning the adoption process. Maybe you have lost several children, are pregnant again and worry about carrying your child to term. For Peter's sake, please allow me to pray for you or your loved ones.

Please leave your prayer intention - for yourself or someone you know - in the comment box. Commenters may leave their name or be anonymous. You may share as little or as much as you like. With great respect, dignity, and affection I would like to pray for you, your pain, your grief, and your hope. I feel it is a calling from God and a great honor.

I, of course, invite all those who comment or read the comments to join me in praying for one another.

Thank you for this privilege.

I just found your blog by accident. I'm praying for James, and today for Peter and your family. We lost our little Marion (miscarriage) in 2006. Thank you for your prayers.

I'm considering starting a blog of my own -- if I do maybe I'll let you know where it is! :)

My friend is about 21 weeks pregnant with a blood clot on the placenta. She could have a healthy full term pregnancy or her water could break today or anything in between.

For us to conceive, if that be God's will.

Thank you.

Please pray for my friends D & M. They recently just lost their first baby. She would have been due in May.

Well, it probably goes without saying, but please continue to pray for us. Especially for patience for me... I need that... Thanks so much!

My sister in law has polycystic ovarian syndrome and would love nothing more than to have a family of her own someday.

For my son and daughter in law to conceive naturally, without the medical intervention forbidden by our faith (wisely). May they be open to God's plan in their lives.

Please pray for my husband and I as we heal from the loss of our first child, Taylor, several weeks ago.

We just had friends deliver a baby prematurely because there was no longer a heartbeat. They named her Paloma Petra and I know they would love even more prayers. Thank you.
